By accessing or using any Van Moose API services (“Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services.
Van Moose provides developer utility APIs at vanmoose.cc. The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time.
Some APIs are also available on third-party platforms. Your use of those platforms is subject to their separate terms of service.
All paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
No refunds for partial months. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Pro-rated refund for unused full months if cancelled within 60 days of purchase. No refunds after 60 days.
Service credits for downtime exceeding the SLA commitment are described in the Service Level Agreement.
If Van Moose discontinues a specific API you are actively using (defined as at least one API call in the prior 30 days), you are entitled to a pro-rated refund for the remaining subscription period.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Van Moose BV and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount paid by you in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred euros (€100), whichever is lower.
The Services are provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to:
We do not warrant that the Services will meet your requirements or that defects will be corrected.
You agree not to:
API usage is subject to rate limits based on your subscription tier. Exceeding limits or violating these terms may result in suspension or termination of access, without refund.
Van Moose commits to 99.5% monthly uptime for all API endpoints, measured across a calendar month excluding scheduled maintenance.
If monthly uptime falls below 99.5%, eligible paid customers may request service credits:

Credits are applied to the next billing cycle and are the sole remedy for downtime. To claim a credit, contact support@vanmoose.cc within 30 days of the incident.
Scheduled maintenance windows (announced 24 hours in advance) are excluded from uptime calculations. Full details are available in our Service Level Agreement.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for violation of these terms or for operational reasons. You may stop using the Services at any time. Refund eligibility is described in Section 3 above.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Van Moose BV and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Services or violation of these terms.
Use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy. We process personal data in accordance with applicable EU data protection laws (GDPR).
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be submitted exclusively to the courts of Amsterdam, Netherlands.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
